ABOUT ME

And welcome to the lean trader, I would like to say the name is due to attributes of an amazing physique, however, it is simply a trading style that is based on quality and substance and not copy trading, hype and indicators.  I am not saying I am some kind of guru, but I do believe the more complex you make your trading, the less money you will make, sometimes, less is more.

I have spent most of my career in the film industry, contributing in some way or another. early on I was an actor, before transitioning to the oposite side of the camera in locations. This has been made up of a medley of TV, Commercials, and films, including the Harry Potter movies, Gullivers travels and most recently, Outrageous, Pride and Perdudice and Amandaland.

But, I also have another passion, Investing, in which I have quite a few years of experience, ironicly this came about from the uncertainties of the industry, I also wanted to understand how money works and how assets are linked to fluctuations in the economy.

 For example, When I learnt that when money is created it goes primarily into property or when Quantative Easing gets distributed it enters the financial markets first and wages last, I knew where I needed to prioritise my money, not just for my own future but for my childrens… 

 I have been trading ever since and gotten quite good at it, I did’t want to give up my job, just devise a plan so I didn’t have to worry about when the uncertainties happen, like the recent strikes, instead of fretting I was able it as an opportunity to do some traveling.

It also means I get to cherry pick the productions I want to work on, and not always bound to say yes, I can take time out, and most importantly spend time with my family.
